This course deals with the most current issues in special education, such as the standards of vocational practice, teacher training, collaboration and team work, consultation, reduction of the gap between theory and practice, advocacy, program evaluation, legislation and law’s in special education, sources of knowledge in special education, working environments for special education personnel, and contemporary philosophical trends in special education.
