The School's Laboratories and Facilities

 


Currently, the School is reviewing all the academic plans of its academic departments to update them in line with local and global quality standards and the requirements of the job market. Additionally, the School, through the vice Dean's Office for Quality Assurance and Accreditation, is working on applying for external accreditation from the CAEP (Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation) for a group of the School's programs. It is also seeking accreditation from the Higher Education Institutions Accreditation Body to obtain a Comprehensive Quality Assurance Certificate. This would make the School of Educational Sciences at the University of Jordan the first School in Jordan to achieve this certification.

It's worth noting that some experts in the field of educational technology have trained some faculty members at the School in using certain database programs. The School has also conducted a series of workshops organized by quality assurance officers to train faculty members.

During the academic year 2022/2023, 130 local research papers were published, distributed as follows:

Furthermore, faculty members at the School participated in 34 conferences, both local and international, during the academic year 2022/2023, distributed as follows:

A - 18 local conferences
B - 6 Arab conferences
C - 10 international conferences

Additionally, faculty members attended 49 seminars and workshops during the academic year 2022/2023, distributed as follows:

A - 47 local seminars and workshops
B - 2 Arab seminars and workshops

Moreover, faculty members at the School participated in 54 committees during the academic year 2022/2023, distributed as follows:

A - 39 committees within the university
B - 15 local committees

Lastly, faculty members provided 17 consultations during the academic year 2022/2023, distributed as follows:

A - 11 local consultations
B - 5 Arab consultations
C - 1 regional consultation​
