The School of Educational Sciences at the University of Jordan held an extensive meeting to follow up on the implementation of the course content digitalization project. The meeting was chaired by Professor Mohammad Sayel Alzyoud, Dean of the School, and attended by members of the Digitalization Committee. This meeting comes as part of the University of Jordan’s pioneering project, which aims to convert all course materials into interactive digital content, in alignment with the latest global trends in e-learning.
During the meeting, Professor Alzyoud emphasized the importance of this ambitious project and its role in enhancing the quality of the educational process, pointing out that digitalizing educational content is a key step towards advancing higher education, an area in which the University of Jordan seeks leadership. He explained that this digital transformation provides a modern and advanced learning environment that leverages the latest digital technologies, facilitating students’ access to course materials through electronic platforms, thereby enabling more flexible learning schedules.
Moreover, Professor Alzyoud highlighted that digital education enhances interaction between students and School members through multimedia tools, such as illustrative videos, interactive lectures, and smart assessments. This integration bridges traditional and digital education, responding to the diverse learning needs of students and fostering an engaging academic environment.
The meeting also discussed the mechanisms for implementing the digitalization project, outlining its main stages, including:

• Testing electronic learning platforms
• Training School members on digital teaching methodologies
• Continuously evaluating digital content to ensure high-quality standards
Attendees also deliberated on development opportunities associated with the project, particularly focusing on:

At the conclusion of the meeting, Dr. Alzyoud stressed the importance of collaboration between various academic and technical entities to ensure the success of the project. He highlighted the need for School members to be trained on modern digital tools, such as artificial intelligence (AI), virtual reality (VR), and data analytics, to enhance the learning experience. He further affirmed that the digitalization of course content at the University of Jordan represents a qualitative leap in the university education system in Jordan. Through this project, the university aims to achieve the highest educational quality standards and strengthen its position as one of the leading institutions in e-learning.
