The School of Educational Sciences Hosts Educational Expert Dr. Asmaa Al-Mallah in the Career Readiness Course for Early Childhood Education Students

​As part of its commitment to strengthening practical components and connecting theoretical knowledge with field experience, the School of Educational Sciences, in coordination with Dr. Maysoon Al-Duwairi—Assistant Dean for Student Affairs and Community Service and instructor of the Career Readiness course, Dr. Akram Al-Bashir—Head of the Curriculum and Instruction Department and instructor of the Career Readiness course for Early Childhood Education Teachers, and Dr. Ibrahim Hamad—instructor of the Career Readiness course for Classroom Teachers, hosted Dr. Asmaa Al-Mallah, a teacher at UNRWA, who delivered a specialized training session on “Writing a CV and a Cover Letter.”

During the session, Dr. Al-Mallah presented several practical themes, including the process of preparing and writing a CV and cover letter, explaining to students the essential principles and practical guidelines. She also introduced a selection of local and international job-search platforms, particularly those relevant to the educational field, and demonstrated effective strategies for self-marketing. In addition, she addressed key aspects of preparing for job interviews and training methods to enhance performance, enabling students to excel in interviews and strengthen their competitiveness for desired positions.

For her part, Dr. Maysoon Al-Duwairi emphasized the importance of hosting distinguished field experts to enrich students’ experiences and enhance their ability to bridge theoretical knowledge with practical application. She pointed out that learning skills directly from professionals with real-world expertise adds greater effectiveness and impact, as it provides students with tested practices and insights from actual work environments.
