The Board of Directors of the University of Jordan Nursery held its annual meeting, attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences, Professor Dr. Mohammad Sayle Alzyoud, Dr. Ola Al-Hawyan, the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the University of Jordan Nursery, and other board members including Dr. Amaya Nassar from the Faculty of Nursing, Dr. Amani Qashmar from the Faculty of Educational Sciences, Dr. Hala Al-Omari from the Faculty of Rehabilitation Sciences, Dr. Aseel Al-Shawarib from Petra University representing the local community, and Ms. Kawthar Abu Kharoub, the Nursery Director and the Secretary of the Board.
Professor Dr. Mohammad Sayle Alzyoud, the Dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences, welcomed the board members and praised their role in providing support and advice to enhance the nursery staff and improve the quality of services provided to children through suggestions, policy development, and awareness activities according to their respective specialties.
Dr. Alzyoud also commended the nursery's role in serving the children of the University of Jordan's employees and the quality of services provided to them in terms of health, educational, and recreational care, in addition to the infrastructure of the nursery buildings (main and supplementary).
The board discussed the matters on the agenda, including offering first aid courses, conducting hearing and speech tests for children, and addressing educational matters that help improve the quality of services provided to children. This contributes to providing a sense of security and reassurance for working mothers at the university and offering the best care for the largest number of children, who are the cornerstone of the nation's future.
