The School of Educational Sciences hosted Dr. Mohammad Zahran Abu Ali, an expert in science curricula and teaching from Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan. He delivered a lecture to the Bachelor's students of Classroom Teacher on "Concepts of Magnetism and Sound and Their Applications." The lecture is part of the expert hosting program launched by the University of Jordan, aimed at enriching the students' experience and acquainting them with scientific and practical expertise from the field to prepare them for the job market.
Dr. Mohammad Abu Ali's hosting came as part of the requirements for the course "Scientific Concepts and Their Teaching Methods," taught by Professor Dr. Adnan Al-Dawalat, a professor of science curricula and teaching. Dr. Al-Dawalat expressed his gratitude and welcomed Dr. Abu Ali at the beginning of the session, commending his cooperation.
During his lecture, Dr. Abu Ali covered basic concepts related to magnetism and sound, in addition to a range of practical applications. He also shared his teaching experience in the Ministry of Education and at Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan, as well as his expertise in the evaluation team for the Queen Rania Award for Distinguished Teacher.
The session witnessed active interaction from the students, with interventions, inquiries, and discussions that enriched the conversation by exchanging opinions and suggestions about preparing science teachers.
