The School of Educational Sciences, in collaboration with the administration of the University of Jordan School, organized a training workshop titled "Student Learning Assessment: Strategies and Tools". The workshop was presented by Professor Dr. Feryal Abu Awad, attended by kindergarten supervisor Dr. Mayson Al-Duweiri, a member of the technical committee, and the school principal Dr. Awad Al-Tarawneh, along with teachers from the University of Jordan School.
The workshop covered various topics related to measurement and assessment, focusing on the distinction between them and the mechanism of their use. It provided a detailed explanation of learning assessment and assessment for learning as an educational process, with examples of the tools used in each type. The session featured interactive participation from the attendees, with active questions and responses to the teachers' inquiries.
Dr. Mayson Al-Duweiri coordinated and organized this training workshop as part of the activities of the technical committee for teachers at the University of Jordan School. These activities aim to develop teachers' performance and exchange diverse experiences across all educational tracks, contributing to enhancing the level of education and improving student assessment techniques to achieve the best learning outcomes.
