School of Educational Sciences Organizes Training Workshop Titled "Life Skills " in Collaboration with Liwan Youth Organization

The School of Educational Sciences organized a training workshop on "Life Skills " in collaboration with the Liwan Youth Organization. The workshop was organized under the supervision of Ms. Ghada Qaqish, Assistant Dean for Laboratories and Events Affairs, in cooperation with the Educational Sciences Student Union, reflecting the School's commitment to collaboration with civil society organizations such as Liwan Youth. The workshop aimed to enhance students' capabilities and develop their life skills, which are essential for their personal and professional success.

The workshop spanned three days and focused on five main topics: developing effective communication skills, positive thinking, problem-solving, time management, and handling stress and self-management. The workshop employed interactive methods that combined both theoretical and practical aspects. Presentations were used to explain the basic concepts, and group exercises and practical workshops provided participants with the opportunity to apply these concepts in a safe environment. Students were also given the chance to share their personal experiences and exchange views with their peers.

Twenty-five students from various majors within the School of Educational Sciences participated in the workshop, adding diversity to the discussions and broadening the scope of benefits.

At the conclusion of the workshop, participants were commended for their engagement and contributions. Emphasis was placed on the importance of continuing such activities that aim to enhance students' abilities and prepare them to face the challenges of professional life.
The necessity of ongoing cooperation between the School of Educational Sciences and Liwan Youth Organization was also highlighted to organize more workshops and events that benefit students and the local community
