Admission Open for the Higher Diploma in Teacher Preparation Program for the First Semester of the Academic Year 2025/2026

​The School of Graduate Studies at the University of Jordan announces the opening of applications for admission to the Higher Diploma in Teacher Preparation programs (for sponsored students, self-funded students, and non-Jordanian students) in the following specializations: Arabic Language, English Language, Mathematics, Classroom Teacher, Sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Earth Sciences), Geography, History, Social Studies Teacher, Sharia and its specializations, Islamic Education Teacher, Islamic Education, Special Education, Educational and Psychological Counseling, and Vocational Education, for the first semester of the academic year 2025/2026.

Applications must be submitted electronically via the following link:

Important Notes:

  • Target group: Holders of a Bachelor’s degree who wish to practice the teaching profession in the specified majors.

  • Age: No age restrictions.

  • Minimum GPA: Acceptable or above.

  • Commitment: Full-time study is required. Students must attend both theoretical lectures and practical training.

  • Tuition fees per credit hour: 70 JOD for Jordanian students; 200 USD for non-Jordanian students.

  • Application fee: Non-refundable.

Required Documents (to be uploaded as a single PDF file not exceeding 6 MB):

  1. Certified copy of high school certificate (Tawjihi) or equivalent.

  2. Certified copy of the Bachelor’s degree certificate.

  3. Certified copy of a diploma certificate (if available).

  4. Certified copies of transcripts for all undergraduate and diploma years.

  5. Grading system from the graduating university.

  6. Equivalency certificate from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for certificates issued by foreign or official Arab universities.

  7. Grade equivalency from the Ministry of Higher Education for graduates of foreign universities or universities without grading systems.

  8. Certified copy of birth certificate with national number.

  9. Certified copy of national ID card.

  10. Official study permission for applicants working in institutions that require prior approval (including University of Jordan employees and University Hospital staff).

  11. Payment of application fee:

  • 20 JOD for Jordanian applicants via eFAWATEERcom service (banks, ATMs, POS, kiosks).

  • 150 USD for non-Jordanian applicants.

  • Sponsored students must select the (MoE-sponsored Diploma) payment option.

Application period: Sunday, September 28, 2025 – Saturday, October 5, 2025.
Note: No paper submission of documents will be accepted at the School of Graduate Studies or the Admission and Registration Unit.
