The School of Educational Sciences hosted the Jordanian writer Huda Al-Sha'ir.

The School of Educational Sciences hosted the Jordanian writer and illustrator Huda Al-Sha'ir. The session was attended by the Dean of the School and faculty members and focused on the topic of children's literature.

The dialogue session was moderated by Dr. Sahar Abu Halou, who discussed various aspects of the current state of children's literature in Jordan. They talked about the role of stories in a child's upbringing and the curriculum for children. The writer provided important guidance for parents and children on how to choose the best stories in terms of content and quality. She also highlighted the skills needed for a children's story writer to produce suitable work for children. Additionally, she shared her personal experiences in this field and the challenges she faced.

The session witnessed valuable contributions from students taking the Children's Literature course at the School, and the writer responded to the students' questions and praised their interest in this field.

At the end of the session, Huda Al-Sha'ir was thanked for her excellence in serving this field.
