Pioneering the preparation of teachers at the local and regional levels, by providing integrated educational programs that combine academic preparation and practical training, with a focus on developing the teacher to be an educational leader capable of innovation and achieving institutional excellence in schools and kindergartens, in a way that enhances the quality of education and improves its outcomes.

Mission

 

The Practicum and Teacher Preparation Unit seeks to prepare highly qualified teachers in academic, pedagogical, and practical aspects by providing a stimulating training environment, fostering effective partnerships with educational institutions, and implementing practicum programs based on scientific and professional foundations—thereby enhancing the quality of education and contributing to sustainable development in society.

 


Objectives:

  1. Prepare teachers who are professionally and pedagogically qualified, and who possess the necessary teaching competencies for effective instruction in diverse educational settings.
  2. Enhance the integration of theoretical and practical components in teacher preparation programs through guided and structured practicum plans.
  3. Develop student teachers' skills in lesson planning, teaching, assessment, and educational research, enabling them to address various classroom challenges.
  4. Establish strategic partnerships with schools and educational institutions to provide a practicum environment that supports the professional development of student teachers.
  5. Foster a culture of professional reflection and self-evaluation among student teachers to improve their future performance.
  6. Implement quality assurance and academic accreditation standards in teacher preparation and practicum programs.
  7. Promote applied educational research related to practicum and teacher preparation issues.
