Professor Dr. Ibrahim Al-Shar'a from the School of Educational Sciences at the University of Jordan has won the award for the best applied research paper focusing on the best applied models in mathematics education. This recognition was awarded at the Mathematics Educators Association conference held recently in the Arab Republic of Egypt. This year's conference was titled "Teaching and Learning Mathematics: Philosophical Models and Applied Models."
