The School of Educational Sciences held a training workshop specifically designed for the coordinators and members of the academic program alignment committees within the School (Bachelor's and Higher Diploma). The workshop was attended by Professor Dr. Mohammad Sayel Alzyoud, the Dean of the School, who expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the colleagues for their valued efforts.
The workshop was conducted by Professor Ramzi Fathi Haroun, the Vice Dean for Quality, Accreditation, and Global Rankings. The aim of the workshop was to enhance the capabilities of the members of the academic program alignment committees by providing them with the necessary knowledge about the requirements for alignment. The workshop covered the required guidelines and forms that need to be filled out accurately according to approved standards. Additionally, it highlighted the importance of documentation and transparency at all stages of the process to ensure the quality of outcomes.
The workshop resulted in a clear procedural work plan, which includes defining weekly tasks and distributing them among the members, along with establishing a mechanism for regularly monitoring their implementation to ensure adherence to deadlines. The goal of this plan is to fully and accurately prepare the alignment requests and their attachments, in preparation for submitting them formally to the Higher Education Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission.
At the conclusion of the workshop, the importance of cooperation and coordination among all members was emphasized to ensure the achievement of the desired goals and to improve the quality of the School's academic programs, positively impacting its global rankings and academic reputation.
