The University of Jordan Launches an Advanced Training Program to Enhance the Competencies of Educational Supervisors in Military Culture Schools

As part of its academic and educational mission to develop the competencies of those working in the educational field, and in line with its community role in building effective partnerships, the School of Educational Sciences at the University of Jordan has launched an advanced training program targeting educational supervisors working in Military Culture Schools, in coordination with the Directorate of Education and Military Culture.

This program responds to the educational field’s need for specialized, high-quality programs in educational supervision and teacher training. It focuses on equipping participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to lead professional development processes for teachers and to activate the role of supervision as a tool that supports professional growth and enhances the quality of education.

Spanning a full month, the program covers a set of integrated training modules aligned with the latest educational trends. It emphasizes educational leadership development, strengthening supervisors’ capacity in educational decision-making, and promoting supportive supervision for sustainable professional growth. It also addresses active learning strategies, effective classroom management, inclusive education, educational guidance and counseling, as well as the integration of technology and artificial intelligence.

The training is delivered by a distinguished group of faculty members from the Higher Diploma in Teacher Preparation Program, who bring extensive expertise in teacher training and professional development. This adds an academic and scientific dimension that reflects the University of Jordan’s standing as a national and educational center of excellence.

This collaboration embodies the School of Educational Sciences’ commitment to fostering a culture of sustainable professional development and strengthening community partnerships with national institutions. It contributes to the advancement of Military Culture Schools and supports their mission of combining military discipline with academic excellence to achieve quality education that keeps pace with modern educational transformations.
