The University of Jordan – School of Educational Sciences participated in the graduation ceremony of the "Qimam Program for Promising Leaders – Jordan Class of 2025," held at the Sheraton Amman Hotel, in the presence of distinguished executives and prominent figures.
This participation aligns with the University’s mission to support its students, unleash their potential, and enhance their personal skills, thereby enabling them to enter the labor market with outstanding competitive capabilities.
The "Qimam" Program is a global leadership platform that annually receives tens of thousands of applications. It is supported by more than 50 leading companies and hundreds of executives from different countries, which enhances its reputation as one of the most prominent programs for developing and empowering outstanding students in the Middle East.
Students selected from over 5,000 applicants underwent an intensive 12-day training program that included one-on-one mentorship sessions with prominent executives, industry experts, and entrepreneurs. The program also featured field visits to leading companies, as well as courses in professional development, personal growth, and leadership skills.
The School of Educational Sciences takes pride in the participation and graduation of its student, Rakan Ashraf Al-Shawabkeh, majoring in Library and Information Science, from the Qimam Program for Promising Leaders – Jordan Class of 2025.
Rakan experienced a unique and distinguished journey of training in diverse and multidisciplinary skills that enhanced his professional and societal competencies.
The School was represented at the graduation ceremony by Dr. Maysoun Al-Duwairi, Assistant Dean for School, Kindergarten, and Nursery Affairs, who emphasized that the selection of the School’s students in this prestigious program reflects the distinguished academic level of the School and the University, as well as the competence of its students. She affirmed that it embodies the School’s pioneering role in empowering students and preparing them to engage in influential leadership pathways at both the national and regional levels.
