The Queen Rania Faculty for Childhood at the Hashemite University hosted Professor Ramzi Fathi Haroun, Vice Dean of the School of Educational Sciences at the University of Jordan, in a distinguished scientific meeting aimed at exchanging academic expertise and discussing mechanisms for the placement of Early Childhood Education and Special Education programs at both the bachelor’s and master’s levels. The meeting was attended by a number of faculty members and specialists in the field of education.
During the session, Professor Haroun delivered a comprehensive academic presentation in which he addressed the specific aspects of academic program placement within the National Qualifications Framework (NQF). He elaborated on the educational dimensions and professional standards used in determining qualification levels, and explained how to align learning outcomes with labor market demands and societal needs.
He also reviewed several experiences of academic program placement in Jordanian universities, highlighting the main challenges and obstacles encountered in the process and suggesting possible solutions to ensure the quality of educational outputs and the sustainability of development in educational programs.
The meeting featured a rich academic discussion in which attendees engaged actively with the ideas and insights presented by Dr. Haroun, emphasizing the importance of strengthening partnerships among faculties of education in Jordanian universities to unify efforts and exchange expertise in academic assessment and quality assurance.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Professor Fathi Ahmeideh, Dean of the Queen Rania Faculty for Childhood, honored Professor Ramzi Fathi Haroun in appreciation of his outstanding efforts in supporting joint academic work and fostering cooperation among Jordanian universities—contributions that enhance the development and efficiency of educational programs in alignment with national visions for advancing education.
