The establishment of this research group aligns with the University’s vision to promote high-impact studies that contribute to the development of educational policies, improve leadership practices in educational institutions, and support evidence-based decision-making. The group focuses on producing rigorous, application-oriented research that explores the roles of educational leaders in managing major transformations in education, such as digital transformation, crisis management, and the promotion of equity, inclusion, and diversity. It also aims to bridge the gap between educational theory and field practice by building interactive professional networks that connect researchers, practitioners, and policymakers, ultimately generating applied knowledge that fosters innovation and embeds sustainability practices within educational systems.

The group also aims to establish strategic partnerships with the Ministry of Education, private schools, and community institutions to enhance programs for preparing and developing school leaders and to elevate the quality of education in Jordan. Additionally, it seeks to broaden its international presence through collaborations with global research networks such as WERA/NEAR and ICSEI’s Educational Leadership Network, facilitating knowledge exchange and launching joint research initiatives at regional and global levels.
