This study aims to develop a test in the skills of the scientific research for the students in faculties of educational sciences at Jordanian universities, and Investigating its Psychometric Properties using Classical and modern Theory, to achieve this goal, a multiple choice test of scientific research skills was developed. It consisted of (88) items in its final form, it was applied to a random sample of (997) students of the Educational faculties at Jordanian universities. The data of the test were analyzed using (SPSS), (Winstep) and (Bilog-Mg). The results revealed that the test has good psychometric features in accordance to the classic theory, validity and reliability were suitable, and the analysis results according to Rasch model indicated that the majority of items have equivalent discrimination coefficients and the guess factor is closed to zero, all items and responses of individuals are good fitness with the model. The result of the analysis shows that the mean value of ability is zero, i.e. it is at the maximum item information function.
