B.A degree in Education/ Early Childhood Education. / Program Overview

An academic educational program that grants a bachelor's degree in the specialization of (Early Childhood Education), extends over a period of four years, which aims to prepare qualified professionals who are able and obliged to provide quality services to children to achieve exemplary outcomes in learning, holistic development, and psychosocial well-being, by enabling them to perform their various job roles and implement related programs, based on best practices and keeping pace with the latest educational studies and  developments.

Program Objectives:

1.     Enhancing Educational Standards: Contributing to raising the standards of early childhood education by providing comprehensive and rigorous training and a study plan in line with international standards, and ensuring that graduates are competitive in the local and global education sectors.

2.     Promoting the importance of early childhood education: Promoting a deeper understanding of the importance of early childhood education among teachers, policymakers, and the community, while highlighting the long-term benefits of investing in early education.

3.      Addressing the needs of early childhood education: Providing a program that responds directly to local, regional, and international demand for qualified early childhood educators, equipped with contemporary pedagogical skills and a deep understanding of child development.

4.       Promoting Local Educational Practices: Providing a curriculum program tailored to meet specific educational needs and cultural contexts in Jordan, with the aim of enhancing the quality of early childhood education locally through contextually relevant practices.

5.      Promoting the holistic development of children: To provide a holistic educational approach that emphasizes the holistic development of children, with a focus on cognitive, linguistic, physical, social, and emotional development through innovative and research-supported teaching methods.

6.     Supporting Inclusion and Diversity: Developing teachers who are able to provide inclusive and diverse learning environments that respect and integrate different cultural, social, and individual differences among children.

7.      Promoting professional ethics and continuing education: Instilling a strong professional ethic and commitment to continuing education and self-development among graduates, enabling them to adapt to changes and progress in the field of early childhood education.
