After completing the Bachelor of Special Education program, the student is expected to be able to:
1. Demonstrate a deep understanding of the basic concepts, principles, and theories in special education.
2. Demonstrates a deep understanding of the characteristics of students with disabilities and the impact of disability on the various developmental aspects and challenges that disability imposes on the individual.
3. Apply the methods and models of educational evaluation for students with disabilities, identify the strengths and weaknesses of their performance, and work to develop and implement individual educational programs based on them.
4. Adapt the educational curricula to suit the needs of students with different disabilities and employ them in the implementation of educational and learning activities.
5. Assume the responsibilities arising from it and practice its work within the value system of the community when dealing with students with disabilities and their families and defending their rights.
6. Communicates and works effectively with the various specialists working with students with disabilities and their parents.
7. Demonstrates an interest in continuous learning and professional growth and demonstrates a commitment to the acquisition and generation of new knowledge and skills using technology and databases effectively.
8. Develops and organizes activities that contribute to generating positive societal attitudes towards disability and participates in the preparation and organization of seminars and meetings that promote national initiatives to empower persons with disabilities.
