After completing the Bachelor of Library and Information Science program, the student is expected to be able to:
1. Classifies the different types of information institutions, and analyzes in depth the goals and functions they perform.
2. Demonstrates a deep understanding of the knowledge aspects related to ICT and its applications in the field of libraries.
3. Demonstrates an interest in continuous learning and professional growth and demonstrates a commitment to the acquisition and generation of new knowledge and skills using technology and databases effectively.
4. It uses different types of traditional and electronic information sources and provides ideas and solutions that contribute to providing them and making them available to the beneficiaries.
5. Analyzes and discusses in depth the factors affecting the performance of information institutions, and compares the different stages of their development.
6. Effectively and efficiently use ICT tools to accurately accomplish the required work in the relevant information institutions.
7. Employs superior thinking skills, critical thinking, and creative thinking in investigating and solving research problems related to library and information science.
8. Assume responsibility, work effectively within a team, adhere to professional ethics and societal values in performing tasks and work, and apply information work ethics and professional codes of honor.
9. Propose ideas and programs that contribute to the development of positive attitudes and values towards libraries in the beneficiary community.
