Field Training
Field trainings in counseling include practicing individual and group counseling skills, effective counseling relationship skills, verbal and non-verbal communication skills, and practical counseling skills in terms of problem identification, exploration, and selection of strategies to help.
This course also aims to provide opportunities for trainees to translate the scientific knowledge they have acquired in the various courses into programs and services for educational counselors and to know the reality of programs and services in the local community. Before the start of the semester, the student chooses one or two categories of students from private or public schools, and the student can also choose the centers in which he intends to develop his competencies more.
Timing:
The field training course in counseling is usually offered in the second semester of the academic year on days (H, S, X) (N, R) and the training hours are from 8 to 2 o'clock on each day of the week.
Internship Credit Hours:
The number of credit hours for field training in special education is 12 hours for the last semester of the student expected to graduate, where each student submits the course requirements at the end of the semester in a special file that includes all the activities and requirements of the course.
