    About the program and its main topics

The Curriculum and Teaching/Methods of Teaching English is one of the main programs in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction since these programs were established in the College of Educational Sciences in 1977. This program has had a distinguished presence in the journey of the college and the university at the level of teaching, research, and serving the local and Arab community. He has contributed to the formation of educational leaders in public education and higher education. His contribution continues to increase through the services he provides in the fields of research and consultancy in the preparation, training and qualification of teachers, in the development of English language curricula and in the improvement of teaching and learning processes in the English language.

 Program Mission
Preparing and training teachers with a high level of competence in the field of English language teaching curricula and methods and contributing to the development of English language curricula and teaching methods through scientific research.
 
 Program Objectives
1. Preparing teachers and educational leaders in English language teaching curricula and teaching methods capable of practicing their roles with high efficiency.
2. Transferring the scientific research in the program to the international community to keep pace with the modern developments in the preparation, training and qualification of teachers and supervisors in the curricula and methods of teaching the English language.
3. Expanding the opening of new academic programs at the doctoral level that respond to the needs of the local, Arab and Islamic community.
4. Strengthening partnership with educational institutions and departments where programs corresponding to the program are available locally, regionally and internationally.​
