The Master's program in Early Childhood Education is related to theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of child education from birth to eight years of age. The program is cognitively affiliated to the fields of early childhood curriculum, developmental psychology, educational psychology, counseling and special education. The program aims to prepare professional specialists in the field of early childhood education, who will possess the competencies required to work in the field of early childhood curriculum development and evaluation, methods of teaching and learning in early childhood, mechanisms for building effective partnerships with families and the local community, management of early childhood institutions, and providing counseling in the field of early childhood.
The program consists of (33 credit hours), distributed as follows: 24 credit hours for study subjects (18 hours for compulsory subjects, six hours for elective subjects), and a research project prepared by the student (master's thesis, for which nine credit hours are allocated).

It is hoped that the Master's Program in Early Childhood Education will employ a distinguished teaching and learning environment to prepare specialized competencies in the field of early childhood education, which play an important and effective role in sustainable development in Jordan, the region and the world.
Program Objectives:
a. Providing students who wish to complete their postgraduate studies and develop their competencies in the field of early childhood education.
b. Preparing specialists in the field of early childhood education who possess modern and in-depth scientific knowledge of various theories and contemporary research on the holistic development of the child and his teaching and learning methods, early childhood curricula, children's psychological well-being, and partnership with the family and community institutions.
C. Activating the scientific research movement in the field of early childhood education, in an effort to enrich theoretical knowledge, contribute to problem solving, and develop child care, education and upbringing services.
d. Responding to the need of the public and private sectors for the presence of a generation of experts specialized in the field of early childhood.
e. Contributing to the development of the educational process and the development of the academic track in local and international public universities by the graduates of the program.
