After completing the PhD in Educational Psychology/Learning and Developmental Psychology, the student is expected to be able to:
1. Demonstrate deep knowledge and understanding of the concepts, principles, and assumptions of the basic theories of learning and development, and educational psychology that explains developmental and learning behaviors and manifestations.
2. Analyzes in depth and distinguishes between concepts, terminology, and theories of cognitive and linguistic development, and the manifestations, indicators, and conditions that explain it.
3. Identify learning and thinking strategies, their characteristics, indicators, and conditions of use and employ them in practical situations.
4. Compares learning and teaching models and strategies and employs them in practical situations.
5. Demonstrates a deep understanding of the methodologies, methods, and designs of quantitative and qualitative scientific research, and the methods of data collection, analysis, and interpretation and employs them in the preparation of his thesis, and reaches conclusions that he presents in seminars or conferences, or orally and in writing in reports that meet international standards.
6. Thoroughly analyzes the cognitive processes carried out by the individual, the social environment, emotional relationships, and the conditions that affect them according to different theoretical frameworks.
7. Represents mental processes in a sensory way and employs them in life activities and practical contexts.
8. Demonstrates an interest in continuous learning and professional growth, and demonstrates a commitment to acquiring and generating new knowledge and skills, which he works to publish in refereed international scientific journals.
