PhD. Educational Psychology / Measurement and Evaluation / Program Intended Learning Outcomes

After completing the Ph.D. program in Educational Psychology/Measurement and Evaluation, the student is expected to be able to:
1. Demonstrate deep knowledge and understanding of the concepts, principles and assumptions of the basic theories in psychometry and their mathematical models, and differentiate between them and use them in related research and evaluation tasks and situations.
2. It uses various grading methods in the field of building and developing psychological and educational tests and scales.
3. Employs different evaluation models in performance in general and in the evaluation of programs and institutions in particular.
4. He uses various statistical methods and tests, both parametric and non-paramount, and employs them with high efficiency in various research situations.
5. Demonstrates a deep understanding of the methodologies, methods, and designs of quantitative and qualitative scientific research, and methods of data collection, analysis, and interpretation, and reaches conclusions that he presents orally and in writing in reports that meet international standards.
6. Develops measurement tools using different theories in psychological and educational measurement.
7. Efficiently uses different methods in grading and detecting paragraph bias and employs them in the preparation of adaptive tests and building question banks.
8. It uses computer programs for data analysis in the construction, development and correction of measures and tests, interpretation of their results, and derivation of standards related to them, and works to publish them in refereed international scientific journals.
9. Employs higher thinking, critical thinking, and creative thinking skills in investigating and solving research problems related to measurement and evaluation.
10. Carry out independent tasks and tasks related to the field of measurement and evaluation, and demonstrate a commitment to acquire and generate new knowledge and skills as a contribution to the development of the field of educational measurement and evaluation.
11. Manages projects and entrepreneurship related to measurement and evaluation and writes technical reports on performance levels and stages of achievement.​
