After completing the Master of Educational Psychology/Learning and Development program, the student is expected to be able to:
1. Demonstrate deep knowledge and understanding of the concepts, principles, and assumptions of the basic theories of learning and development, and educational psychology.
2. Analyzes and compares theories explaining the learning and teaching process, and demonstrates an understanding of human behavior in diverse contexts.
3. Accurately analyzes and diagnoses the factors and contexts that lead to the occurrence of developmental and behavioral problems and disorders.
4. Evaluates the criteria used to judge normal and abnormal behavior, and suggested intervention methods to overcome problems.
5. Apply the theories of learning and teaching in the teaching process, evaluation methods and strategies, and show positions that support the principles of these theories and strategies.
6. Accurately and professionally observe the behavior in various situations, and analyze it to identify the factors affecting the development of individuals.
7. Employs developmental and preventive methods in the development of human behavior, demonstrating commitment to the values and ethics of the profession and society.
8. Develops and adopts appropriate standards for judging the extent of behavior.
9. Employs analytical and critical thinking skills in analyzing life situations related to developmental manifestations.
10. Demonstrates a deep understanding of the methodologies, methods, and designs of quantitative and qualitative scientific research, and the methods of data collection, analysis, and interpretation, and employs them in the preparation of his thesis and conducting theoretical and applied research, and reaches conclusions that he presents in seminars, conferences, or in the form of oral and written reports.
11. Demonstrates an interest in continuous learning and professional growth, and demonstrates a commitment to the acquisition and generation of new knowledge and skills, using technology and databases effectively.
