Program Specifications

Master degree in Education/ Early Childhood Education. / Program Intended Learning Outcomes

The program is expected to help students achieve the following learning outcomes:

1.    Conduct a critical review and analysis of a specialized body of knowledge covering contemporary developments in the field of early childhood across the age group from birth to eight years.

2.    Develop curricula and programs for young children that are based on current theories and research on young children's education and learning.

3.    Clarify best practices in early childhood education.

4.    Build collaborative relationships with families and communities and in the field of early childhood education as well as in other relevant disciplines (e.g. educational psychology, child psychology, special education, etc.).

5.    Promote advocacy and support for children, families and the profession based on advanced knowledge of early childhood policy, teaching methods and practices.

6.    Enrich educational knowledge by engaging in experimental and practical research.
