Reference Points The targeted learning outcomes were developed to reflect the following reference points (e.g., the vision and mission of the university, professional associations, accreditation bodies, and quality standards at the University of Jordan) and the development of  these products was based on the accreditation standards of the Library and Information Science specialization in the Jordanian Ministry of Higher Education, and the development of these products took into account the domestication of international standards for master's programs in library and information science, especially the standards of the American Library Association.(ALA)
