Targeted learning outcomes have been developed to reflect the following benchmarks:

The vision and mission of the university, the College of Educational Sciences, and the Department of Educational Psychology.

 Keeping pace with the national frameworks regulating higher education qualifications in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the issuance of the Universities Accreditation Commission at the Ministry of Higher Education

 A study of the needs of the Jordanian labor market, which showed that there is a national need for psychometric and educational measurement graduates to work in testing centers at the Civil Service Bureau, measurement and evaluation centers in the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Higher Education, the National Center for Human Resources Development, the Department of Statistics, public and private schools, care centers for people with special needs, and psychological clinics.

Three programs in educational measurement and evaluation were selected: local (Yarmouk University), Arabic (King Saud University), and foreign (Michigan State University)  due to their accreditation from university accreditation bodies, and their good reputation in the field of educational measurement and evaluation. for development.
