Overview
The Department of Counseling and Special Education is a distinguished unit. It began offering Master’s programs in Psychological Counseling (1973/1974) and Special Education (1985/1986), later expanding to include Bachelor’s programs in Counseling and Mental Health (1990/1991) and Special Education (1992/1993), focusing on preparing specialists capable of addressing diverse psychological needs. The department launched Ph.D. programs in Special Education and Psychological and Educational Counseling in 2000/2001. It is committed to developing student competencies, advancing research, and consultancy services that support both the community and educational institutions.
