Professor Dr. Rubaie Mustafa Olayan, a professor of Library and Information Science, participated in the First International Conference of the National Library, held in celebration of the Golden Jubilee of the National Library's founding, under the theme: “National Libraries and the Role of Archives in the Digital Preservation of Documents."
Dr. Olayan presented a distinctive scholarly paper titled: “Challenges Facing the Digital Transformation Process at the Jordanian National Library from the Perspective of Members of the Jordan Library Association." In his presentation, he addressed the key technical, administrative, and human obstacles affecting the progress of digital transformation processes, in addition to offering practical recommendations to accelerate digital development and ensure its sustainability.
Dr. Olayan's contribution extended beyond presenting his research; he also served as a member of the conference's scientific committee and played an active role in evaluating submitted research papers. This reflects his extensive expertise and prominent academic standing in the field of library and information science, both nationally and internationally.
