He met with Professor Mohammad Sayel Alzyoud, Dean of the School, and the School's international accreditation team. The visit aimed to discuss the strategic frameworks needed to elevate the School's position and academic ranking globally, reflecting its academic excellence on an international level.
The meeting included extensive discussions about the factors contributing to the School's ranking of 258 in Educational Sciences and 49 in Library and Information Sciences according to the QS World Ranking. Dr. Al-Sawaeer expressed pride in the efforts made by the School's administration, School members, and various working teams to achieve this accomplishment. He emphasized the importance of maintaining this rank and intensifying efforts to achieve even higher positions in upcoming rankings, noting that these high placements position the University of Jordan on the global map of educational excellence.
During the discussions, a comprehensive analysis of the results across various global rankings that include educational sciences was conducted. Dr. Al-Sawaeer highlighted that the rankings are based on a set of integrated criteria, including teaching quality, the impact of published scientific research, the strength of academic programs offered, and prestigious international partnerships. In this context, he stressed the need to develop these aspects to enhance the School's chances of securing higher positions in various academic rankings.
