The Dean of the School of Educational Sciences at the University of Jordan, Prof. Mohammad Sayel Al-Zyoud, inspected the progress of final examinations in the School’s halls this morning, in order to observe the examination process on the ground and ensure that exams are being conducted smoothly in accordance with approved plans and regulations.
The Dean was accompanied during the inspection tour by the Vice Dean for Graduate Studies, Prof. Adel Tannous; the Vice Dean for Administrative Affairs and Digital Transformation, Dr. Ola Al-Hwayan; the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. Amal Ibrahim Malakawi; the Assistant Dean for International Accreditation and Global Rankings, Dr. Sahar Abu Hilo; and the Assistant Dean for the School, Kindergarten, and Nursery, Dr. Maysoun Al-Duwairi.
The tour covered several examination halls, where the Dean reviewed students’ adherence to examination regulations and the smooth and orderly conduct of exams, in addition to the availability of an appropriate environment in terms of comfort and organization inside the halls. He also followed up on the distribution of invigilators and their compliance with approved instructions, ensuring fairness, transparency, and equal opportunities for all students.
During the tour, Prof. Al-Zyoud met with a number of students and listened to their feedback and observations regarding the nature of the exams and the level of organization, affirming the School’s commitment to addressing any challenges they may face and responding promptly to any issues, if necessary.
Prof. Al-Zyoud stated:
“The Deanship of the School of Educational Sciences, under the direct guidance of the University’s leadership, is keen to monitor the examination process on the ground and ensure the provision of a calm and well-organized examination environment that enables students to sit their exams with fairness and transparency, in line with approved academic quality standards.”
He also emphasized that the University of Jordan has provided all means of comfort and logistical and administrative support for students during the examination period, through preparing examination halls, providing qualified academic and administrative staff, and ensuring compliance with approved organizational and health procedures.
He added:
“We attach utmost importance to the examination process as an essential component of the academic quality system. We are committed to daily follow-up of examinations in the School and to addressing any remarks or emergent challenges promptly, in a manner that serves students’ interests and strengthens their confidence in the educational institution.”
The Dean noted that examinations represent a pivotal stage in students’ academic journey, which necessitates providing a stable and secure examination environment that helps them focus and perform at their best.
At the conclusion of his tour, Prof. Al-Zyoud expressed his appreciation to the academic and administrative staff of the School of Educational Sciences for their efforts during the examination period, commending their spirit of cooperation and responsibility, and wishing all students success in their academic journey.
